Our time in Salvador is almost gone, today we travel to Nicaragua. We left Perquin early in the morning, passed by San Miguel and then headed to Honduras.
Benjamin and Alfredo were with us, so the drive was fun as we talked and laugh. Benjamin has been driving people around for over 13 years, so he has stories to last him a life time.
As expected going thru the boarders was hectic, but since we were with them they knew what to do so it went fast.
We took the “Pan-American Highway“, once we enter Honduras the road started to get pumpy due to the holes, and you also started to see some police and customs officers looking for some cash to facilitate your passing. It’s common practice here and it continues all the way to Nicaragua.
