After living in Quezon City for 5 years, I decided it’s time for my husband to visit Quezon City Circle last weekend. Besides, since we have doctors’ orders for our 2-year old daughter to lose 1 lb per month, it’s high-time we take her for a good run and give her new sights to see.
After paying the parking fee of P15, you will be naturally gravitated towards the “circle” where the monument for Manuel L. Quezon stands. Beside this is a newly-built zen park with ferns, cacti, ponds and pathways for a good walk or jog.
Surrounding the monument, is an elliptical road that houses a good traffic of joggers and dogs. But of course since there are no big trees like the acacia in UP, please wear sunscreen to protect your skin from darkening and wrinkles. I suggest you go there around 6am and stop jogging by 8am…
