Living in Europe has many perks. One is the ability to travel to another country (or more) in less than a day.
We were invited to go snowboarding in Slovenia with another military couple, so we drove the hour or two drive to Cerkno, which has a big ski resort, in Slovenia. The drive there was a little crazy, having to maneuver kilometers of mountain roads (which we still don’t know if they were two ways or not!) and not getting ran off the mountain. This was our first drive out of the country, since we flew to Paris, we researched to make sure we knew all the hidden laws about headlights and vignettes.
