Greetings readers and welcome once more.
It strikes me that it is remarkably simple to get carried away with only writing about other countries when blogging about travel and to ignore the delights that can surround us on a daily basis on our own doorstep. So today as the sun was shining brilliantly I thought I would take my camera and give people a taste of where I called home for six years. A small peninsula called the Mull of Galloway, in South West Scotland, and in particular the area surrounding Port Logan.
Port Logan itself is a village of just two streets, the High road and Laigh road… There’s a song in there somewhere!
Myself and my family ran the village pub here for five years before my mother passed away and we sold up and it shall always remain dear to my heart.
