Jing’An Temple. A buddhist temple constructed in AD 207 located smack dab in the middle of downtown Shanghai. It’s a mere two metro stops from my apartment and is one of the most beautifully restored temples I have ever visited. This past weekend was the Mid－Autumn Festival here in China so it was an excellent time to go and check the place out. People praying, monks roaming around (although I choose not photograph them out of respect), the smell of inscents burning and a beautiful blue sky to compliment it all. Its truly a magical place that my pictures don’t do justice.
